So The Legend went out and listed his favorites to win this year's Arrowhead in the local paper up in I Falls. As those in the know read through the names they stopped on one in particular; "Charlie Tri, isn't he that guy who has raced twice and can barely make it past the first checkpoint?", they think in confusion. Racers across the world give a collective "What The F###?".
I figure I have been first to drop out at the checkpoint #1 the last 2 years. Is he just confused?

From a non-emotional observer type standpoint you're my favorite- provided you avoid issues with the cold. 3rd times the charm. Bring it back to Rochester.
The way I read that is, "My money is on you to win, but I think your a douche and I'll be rooting for you to fail". That is cool. Can't please everyone I guess.
With the Cold Avenger, how could you come in anything less than first?
Yeah, the cold avenger is awesome. I think it really is the combination of the mask, the 907 bike, the bontrager bits, and Rochester Cycling that gives me a lethal advantage. The weakest link is me.
Charly- that's not exactly what I meant...
More like, I have a couple good friends in the race who I would love to see win. I think you are stronger than them AND stronger than the other people in the race if you can handle the weather etc. as well as the others.
I guess you can read it how you want.
Drew, I was "making a funny". As far as me being stronger than the other riders we'll see, but at least 2 of them have more impressive race histories than I.
I know- but I figured I better clarify what I meant... lots of people read these things!!!
Besides that, you are a d-bag AND I do want to see you win. It's sort of like when I watch Gopher's football get beat by every team in the big ten and then I cheer for Wisconsin in their bowl game to make me feel better about how much the gophers suck. In this case, I'm the gopher...
BTW- the missing piece of your winter kit is surely the

just don't cinch it too tight for endurance rides.
